Book your fired-pottery collection online!

You can now arrange to collect those pots! We are excited (and relieved!) to have the new booking system is in place, enabling you to arrange a date and time to collect your fired pottery.

Why can’t I just turn up?

Online booking is introduced so that we can safely manage visitors to the studio. The system is contactless. When you place your booking, the information you provide allows us to locate your pottery in our system. The package will be ready to pick up at a collection point In studio, without the need for staff contact.

So we won’t see you? Certainly in the short term, you will see us buzzing around the studio carrying out workshop activities (or very possibly in our ‘scruffs’ whilst we make various physical and operational changes that are needed as we move toward opening). We won’t delay you of course...but do give us a wave because we have missed seeing you all, for sure! So when are collection days? We are adding as many collection dates and times as possible and these will vary week on week. You will usually find the following two weeks availability in the calender, but do keep checking back as extra dates can be added at any time. We aim to provide a minimum of 120 collection opportunities per week! Painted before closure, but not had a ‘ready message’ yet? If you painted before our closure on 18th March, you may not as yet have received your ‘ready message’, and so you may be unsure whether you can book a slot. Opening to collections coincides with the date by which we aim to have all pre-closure glazing and firing completed. Until your pottery has been processed, it would be wrong to give you assurances for a specific date. None of us know when Track and Trace could call us, for example! Messages will go out individually when it’s a thumbs up on specific pottery but by all means book a slot and reschedule nearer the time if required.

This system is one that is implemented with the assumption of being used for some time, certainly whilst the country remain as it does in terms of Covid-19 (perhaps permanently if it works well 👍). So the stated importance on that system of waiting for a ‘ready message’ will apply more suitably for those currently enjoying their home painting, and indeed once we are open to visitors. Any current Covid-19 directions will be displayed (for example how many people can enter at one time or where to wait), and we thank you for adhering to those throughout your visit.
